In the U.S. in the 1930s, the female form made a comeback in fashion, after a period of boyish 'flapper' looks in the 1920s - meaning a more gentile feminine look for the ladies. The look was meant to be sweet and gentile during the day, and an embracing of glamour at night.
At the same time, the Great Depression played its part in the fashion of the day, at least in the early 1930s. Women began sewing their own clothes more, since thrift was a sort of 'fashion' in itself (our of necessity).
For men, this was a new era of fashion in the sense that, whereas before, little changes were made to men's fashion over shorter amounts of time, now was an era where the industry had a new realization: The more often they change details, the more often men had to go out and buy new clothes. A sort of snob culture developed in men's fashion. The singe breasted jacket was a new look for the early part of the decade, and broad plaid was a popular style. Double breasted suits came back, along with a shorter jacket cut, in the decade's later years.
Of course yes there is. One example is that both men and women wear ugg boots today, which was not 1930s fashion.
Fashion, not all cultures have this fashion.
The fashion during this time was very modest, with mid calf length skirts and tiny waists. Every outfit was topped off with a skull cap or hat. They women would have been attractive without having to show off so much skin.
During the 1930s in America, women were treated as if they were valueless. Women were nothing in the eyes of men, and there was no equality between men and women. Women were second-class citizens. They were expected to stay home and raise their children and nothing more.
In the year 1513 the fashion for women was these huge dresses and the fashion for men was tights and puffy capri like pants over them. Well, at least i think that what it was.
Of course. Did you know that men wore heels too.
It is the fashion naturally. Sort of like how women wear earrings or bracelets.
Men are equally interested in fashion. There are several male models and most of the top fashion designers are male, so it is not only women who are interested. Despite the fact that most of the men who are involved in fashion are stereotyped as gay, there are many male heads working relentlessly in the fashion world. Women tend to be more beautiful and pretty; and fashion being associated with the same, gives rise to the misbelief that women are more interested in fashion.

Try renting movies which settings are precisely those years. Or reading novels such as The Grape of Wrath, it will give you an idea of what was happening during those days. The reality is that fashion was either very fancifull of all the contrary. What it was a must back then was hats.
yes! because men like women for there looks. and women like men for there acts.
