Answer
All you have to do is look in any History book and you will find your answer, but by today's standards I'd say that life today is a heck of a lot better than it was in 1776. They didn't have telephones, heating was probably of wood as there were no furnaces back in those days. Doctors weren't as advanced as they are today and a lot of people died because the Science of today didn't exist back in 1776.
OK NO! things were bad but that doesn't answer his question.
It all depends on where you talk about, they all different. EX. New England, Middle, South, all 100% diff.

People were much more self-sufficient than the English, and had more skills than the British did. The Revolutionary War was about to start (1775 is when it officially started) and there were many protests on taxation without representation. This is pretty much what was happening, but all in all, America was a lot more simple and more behind in the development of technology.
Well, they were scared a little because people were shooting guns. But there daily life may have been like your mothers do today. Such as doing the dishes, washing the clothes or a quick trip to the market.
The life in 1781 was very simple without any technologies. Most people were engaged in farming activities and hunting as the main source of livelihood.

The daily life for a colonist life was to oversee his subjects perform their day to day tasks and responsibilities. A colonist man main role was mainly supervisory.
The average day life of a North Carolina colonist was pretty similar to that of any other colonist from another colony. The average colonist from North Carolina was most likely a farmer though. If not a farmer than probobly a lumberjack. There were not many other jobs to do around the colony at that time though.
The colonist did not try to make themselves look like Indians.
paul revere's life was normal as a child( well, as normal as a colonist's life could be). However, he never dreamed of being a hero like he is today.
