It would of been the hay day of the Renaissance. Life would have been relatively good. Things like aqueducts were being built, advances in medicine were being made and wonderful examples of art and structure were being constructed. Nevertheless if you had traded this life for that one, it would seem very basic and dare I say archaic. The technological advances of the 1400's-1600's pale in comparison to our life style.
