The seneca climate was harsh and deadly.in the summer they had to deal with extreme heat that killed most of the crops. The winter was even worse. It was super cold and made it very hard for them to survive the cold harsh winter.Sadly many indians did die to the winter some survived to live another day.

Well, first off, the Iroquois are still around. I assume you're asking about pre-revolutionary people (Iroquois before 1776). Those people (who were actually a group of 6 tribes - the Seneca, Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and later the Tuscarora) lived in what is now the northeastern United States, including upstate New York. The climate there is considered temperate. They have four distinct seasons: Fall, winter, spring, and summer with hot summers and cold winters.

The Iroquois lived in what is now Northeast United States; this means the climate is no different then than it is now.
