Chancellorsville (May 1863)

A brilliant victory that demonstrated Lee's two greatest talents - wrong-footing the enemy by refusing to fight on a field of their choosing, and ordering fast, bold, nimble attacks carried out by Stonewall Jackson.

Stonewall, of course, was killed at this battle.
