Augsburg
Westminster Confession of Faith was created in 1646.
The first protestant movement can be attributed to Martin Luther. This movement became known as Lutheranism.
Most Protestant denominations do not recognize the Sacrament of Reconciliation so there is no confession.
Some important locations of the Reformation include Wittenberg (where Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses), Geneva (where John Calvin established his Protestant movement), and Augsburg (site of the Augsburg Confession, a key Protestant statement of faith).

The Westminster Confession of Faith was written by the Westminster Assembly, a group of theologians and clergy convened by the English Parliament in the 17th century. The assembly met from 1643 to 1649 and produced the confession as a statement of faith for the Church of England.
The Credo
Well, first, the Lutheran denomination and the other Protestant denominations (Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, etc.) are all part of the Christian faith. Historically, the Lutheran denomination can be considered the first one, although no one was noting these sorts of things at the time of the Reformation
Confession to another human being is only found in the Catholic tradition. In Judaism, Protestant Christianity and Islam, confession is between you and God - only. By the way, He is ALWAYS online.
The Protestant faith, of which the Lutheran faith was the oldest form.
