Most left wing revolutionaries were against signing any treaty with Germany, Lenin was almost alone in making peace with the Kaiser. In 1917 the Left Wing Communists were led by Nikolai Bukharin and he proposed a Propaganda and revolutionary offensive to bring down Germany from within and to use these types of actions to incite revolutions in Western Europe.
