Go to DiscountTireDirect.com - if you look up tires, it will ask for year and model of vehicle - if there was only one tire option for that vehilcle, it will be listed - otherwise, it could give you a couple of sizes...

Usually, the difference is in the weight capacity, as in 1/2 ton - 3/4 ton - 1 ton.... Other than that, the extended cab p/u had a larger tire - but Chevrolet didn't make extended cabs in 1981, so that wouldn't apply...
