The British people would go to Africa with guns, chains and whips. Sometimes they would supply this to the Africans who would help them capture other Africans for the British people. They would then store all the slaves on the ship (called the slaver) and would then take them to America where they would sell the slaves for cotton, tobacco and also sometimes money. They then go back to Britain and sell all the materials they have bought, and this keeps on continuing.

This is what the slave trade is.

The trade triangle was: tobacco and cotton would go to the mother country and there they would get shackles and irons then they would head to Africa and pick up slaves and then to America and then the whole thing was repeated.
