Majority of their weapons that I've seen were originally Soviet designs, but manufactured in China or Pakistan - who had traditionally been their main suppliers. They would also have weapons of Soviet/Russian manufacture, typically either left behind after the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan, or captured from Northern Alliance forces (who the Russians continued to provide materiel to during the civil war which ensued after the 1989 Soviet withdrawal). We also captured a fair number of Enfield rifles, both of British and Pakistani manufacture.
