What weapons or items did the Confederate soldiers carry during the Civil War?

The average Confederate soldier was issued leathers which consisted of a cartridge box (used to hold rounds), cap pouch (used to hold musket percussion caps), and a bayonet sheath (used to hold bayonet) along with a leather belt which held the cap pouch, bayonet sheath and sometimes the cartridge box when a cartridge box strap was not issued or thrown away by the soldier. They were also issued a haversack (made of cotton or canvas) used to carry their rations and a canteen (made of wood or tin) to drink from. For camping, a wool blanket, ground cloth (a piece of "tarred" canvas) and a shelter half (made of canvas) was issued and carried in an issued knapsack (made of canvas) or rolled up into a "mule collar" and worn slung over the left shoulder. This varied of course from soldier to soldier since each state/depot issued different items and styles of equipment. The types of muskets and rifles that were issued to Confederates were numerous and varied in quality, the most common being either a prewar smooth bore ('42 Springfield, flintlock conversion, etc.) or a rifled musket ['53 Enfield, '55/'61/'63 Springfield (US made), CS Richmond, etc.]. Union equipment was utilized as well after Confederate equipment became to tattered to use and broken supply lines made it impossible to resupply the soldiers.
