What were the accomplishments of the Founding Fathers in creating foundations of the American education system during the Revolutionary era?
All I can think of at this time is the "Land Ordinance of 1785," under the Articles of Confederation. In this amendment to the Articles of Confederation, several paragraphs down, it states: "There shall be reserved for the United States out of every township...four lots....There shall be reserved the lot No. 16 of every township for the maintenance of public schools within the said township.... George Washington had many accomplishments during the Revolutionary war era. some of which include... -he was a delegate to the continental congress from Virginia -he was the general of the continental army Washington was elected the first president of the united states -he won many battles and led the Americans to victory of the American revolution -he is admired by all!
