Most of Wilson's '14 Points' were never accepted. They were conciliatory toward Germany and remarkably progressive. His suggestion for a 'League of Nations', a predecessor to the United Nations, was adopted by many nations, but not by his own country, the US, which did not join. Had Wilson's ideas been implemented, the Nazi party would probably never have been formed, and the Second World War might have been avoided.
14 Points
The Treaty of Versailles did not END World War 1. It was a surrender that ended it. The treaty was the documented conditions imposed on Germany after Germany had started the war and was the cause of millions of people. They were responsible for the leveling of many towns too. So the countries who were angry with them created the 14 points of the treaty. I have added a copy of the treaty points. They hated Germans for decades.
They got along fairly well, but there was still conflict as there is always between countries. They couldn't come to an agreement on the punishment that the Central Powers, the European countries thought that the 14 Points were too soft of the Germans for the trouble and expenses the war took. They blamed them for the war, and they wanted revenge, whereas the United States felt that it was both sides fault.
If you mean World War 2, the Germans had to be occupied by four countries and abide by the Postdam Conference. See Link Below. If you mean World War 1, the Germans had 14 points they had to abide by whether they liked it or not. They were very bitter about their surrender reparations they had to meet and it fueled Adolph Hitler to disregard it and start a war. See Link Below.
The 14 points of the Versailles Treaty were NOT President Wilson's 14 points they were created by many countries, mainly France, to punish Germany. Wilson's agenda was the League of Nations.
He proposed the 14 points following World War 1
President Wilson proposed his 14 points because he believed that they would establish world peace, ease tensions between countries, and prevent another major war.
League of Nations. The 14 points and The Treaty of Versaillies.

The 14 Points for Peace were proposed by President Woodrow Wilson in a speech to Congress in January 1918 during World War I. Wilson outlined his vision for a post-war world that would prevent future conflicts and promote international cooperation.
the purpose for Woodrow's Wilson 14 points were to create peace following world war IThe Fourteen Points was a plan for peace following the end of World War I
The Fourteen Points Plan did not work because many of the points were deemed unreasonable to the other countries like Britain and France. They also did not want the U.S. to control any peace treaties since they entered World War I late.
