These armies had primitive muskets with them, but they are very unreliable. Muskets were very to carry and slow to fire. The cannon was especially frustrating as it was difficult to transport, load, and aim and was used primarily for siege warfare. Non gunpowder weapons, such as knights, swords, pikes, and bows still played a huge role too.
