There weren't any. Many soldiers in the Civil War saw baseball played for the first time, and learned to play themselves. Union General Abner Doubleday is said to have "invented" baseball, but what he really did was write down the rules for the game he saw his men playing. The first professional baseball team was created in 1869, four years after the war was over, the Cincinnati Reds. That was also the year the first College Football game was played. By the 1880s college football was big, but professional football did not start until after WWI, when the NFL was created in 1924. Basketball was invented in the 1890s, but the NBA did not start until after WWII, in 1948. At the time of the Civil War there was some boxing (mostly bare knuckle), some men liked to wrestle, and horse racing was popular.
The northern states were the Union (Yankees) and the southern states were the Confederate States of America (Rebels).

Which civil war? Conscription team? If by civil war you mean "The War Between the States" in America, and when you say conscription you mean the draft, and by teams you mean " sides"... Then the answer would be that the Northern States or the Federals was one side/team and the Southern States or the Confederacy was the other side/team. Both drafted or conscripted men to meet the needs of their Armies. Short answer: North vs. South.
when people started dying in the civil war, they would have medical teams on hand, usually women and doctors would pick them up on stretchers, and transfer them to the nearest medical unit.
It would depend on which civil war you are referring to.

A Civil war in general is a war between one country. If you went to another country and were talking about the civil war they probably would think you were talking about their civil war. The correct term is The United States Civil War.

Do you mean the Spanish Civil War or the American Civil War?
