Duck is fairly rich and fatty and so you might like a good dry red with it; possibly a Shiraz or a dry blend such as cabernet sauvignon. Speak with your local wine suppliers, who usually know more than most of us about what to drink with which dish, but remain aware that opinions are always subjective. Also bear in mind you need to think about other dishes being served. If a delicate dish is to be served before or after it might be overpowered by the duck and its accompanying wine. Duck meat has a lot of personality. This could be an occasion to serve a well-flavoured but, shall we say, quieter, dish first. A salad involving avocado, good cheese, tomato and olives, dressed with lemon juice and olive oil, with a full-bodied but dry white wine might be great. Consider finishing with a light frozen dessert accompanied by crisp, well-flavoured wafers and a good liqueur or fortified wine, and really good coffee. I wish I was having dinner with you!
Fleshy red wines will compliment a nut roast beautifully.
The Cabernet-Shiraz is a great match for nut roast. Or the Chilean Merlot, which is an equally lovely pairing for the meal.
The ideal wine for a meal of roast duck is a light-styled Red Burgundy or a Passetoutgrains red. The raspberry and cheer fruity flavours of these wines compliments the flavour of the duck very beautifully. For example, Light Pinot Noir is a fantastic pairing.
However if you have sauces with the duck, such as orange or cherry, then you should ideally find a wine that suits the flavour of the fruity sauce.
If the roast duck comes with an orange-based sauce, then Australian Chardonnay or an off-dry Vouvray would be better.
If the roast duck is in a cherry-based sauce, then the Riesling Spälese or Beaujolais Cru are recommended.

well, i think the strongest nut is the almond because of its tough hard shell.
It seems like if the nut went on first there'd be nothing to keep the washer on. Anyway, the the washer goes on a bolt before the nut.
