Jewish answer: Nothing. Judaism rejects the idea of Satan as an independent agent. That smacks too much of Zoroastrian-style dualism where there is god and an anti-god fighting over creation.
Satan disguises himself through deceit and manipulation. He often presents himself as something appealing or tempting, like an angel of light or a voice of reason, in order to deceive and lead people astray from God's truth. He exploits human weaknesses and desires, subtly distorting the truth to gain influence and control over individuals.
Eating the fruit from the forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden caused Adam and Eve to gain knowledge of good and evil, leading to their expulsion from paradise as a consequence of disobeying God's command not to eat from that tree.
No, mankind didn't have to achieve what they already had. Human beings were created in the image of God. But at the same time, they were like, and not like, God. They weren't like God in their initial ignorance of good and evil. With the gain in knowledge of good and evil, they then became unlike God in their limited lifespans.Mankind was like God in having free will. So human beings didn't need the actions of Satan, Eve, and Adam in order to achieve free will. Free will refers to the freedom to choose between doing good and doing evil. Eve and Adam were warned by God not to eat of the forbidden fruit. Eve chose to listen to the sinister serpent despite her previous interactions with God. Adam chose to listen to Eve.
There was no mercy. Satan, Adam, and Eve all received a death sentence. From Genesis 3:15-24 Jehovah tells of how life will be from now on. Death, pain and suffering. But there is a hope, John 3:16 tells us how Gods son Jesus came to Earth to die for our sins so that one day we can gain back what Adam lost.
wft this is rediculous
your original sin- handed down from Adam and eve in the garden of eden when eve was tempted by Satan to eat from the tree of knowledge. when the Lord God found out he banished them from the garden and telling them what the consequences were.when we are baptized God forgave us of that sin which would have kept us out of paradise and left us in a state of limbo. so when we are baptized we became children of God and can gain entry into heaven if we sin no more
One point: I believe one ironic point (of the film version by Roger Corman) was that though he said he worshiped Satan because he believed he was the god of truth and reality, he also worshiped him to escape the grasps of reality. That was that death is an inevitable fate for humanity and he believed by doing Satan's work, he would gain immortality.
It is often said that certain persons will sell their souls to Satan to get personal wealth. It is a grievous sin to get gain at the expense of others. Though Satan cannot make you do his bidding he can put the temptation in your mind.
That history, from the time of Adam and Eve repeats itself. Cain killed Abel out of jealousy and to get gain, and so it has been ever since.
Practitioners of Voodoo are not involved in any way with the Christian 'Satan'. If you hear outlandish rumors like this, keep in mind they are more than likely untrue.
Adam Smith wrote the first major explanation of Laissez-faire capitalism. He stated that nations would gain wealth if they allowed free economic competitions for their citizens. He believed that workers' wages should also rise so that they could becomeconsumers, thus creating demand.
Gain defanitly gain!
