Military aircraft do not have flight attendants. If you are perhaps asking how to be assigned to a military chartered flight, you would need to already be a flight attendant, and check with the head office of your airline.

Because if there late they can be in risk of jeopardizing their job, the plane, making people wait, or the flight might just take off without the flight attendant and he/she would've missed it already.

As you are an ex-flight attendant, you already know that random drug tests for flight attendants are now the norm and mandated by the FAA. I'd say that it's not likely you could regain another flight attendant position...I don't think most airlines would bother when they already have a lot of applicants as it is...
