on a scale from 1-5 i would say 1 as this would be quite a serious injury
and it would be quite rare if a hammy survived such injury plus cats have quite scrap that shed loads of Bactria in their saliva and claws so i would say the survival rate would be 10 .

Your mother was a hamster... and your father smells of elderberries
In the wild, hamsters venture out only at night to hastily gather food. They do this because they are prey animals, and have evolved to sleep during the day, thusly avoiding the most dangerous diurnal predators. If a hamster feels threatened, it will freeze, usually mid-stride. If challenged the hamster can viciously bite the challenger.
Because it thinks it is going to be attacked. let it smell your hand from outside the cage before you put in the cage
I had a 3 month old rat together with my hamster and the rat attacked my hamster, leaving my hamster with a bloody ear. it really depends on the rat's personality along with the hamster. My hamster was pretty lax about being with the rat but rats can be violent depending on how they were raised, and you can't know for sure how it was raised if you got it from a friend or a pet store.
