What would cause a 1988 Mazda 323 to not have or have very little power from first to second gear Or to have to gear down going up hills?
I had this problem several times and brought it to my mechanic. He informed me that the clutch was going bad thus resulting in a loss of power. Fixed the clutch and my problem dissappeared!
The first and most logical place to look for a Mazda 323 that's for sale would be a local Mazda dealership. Besides this, the website of Mazda would be very helpful to find the right place. If one is looking for a second-hand, cheaper one, websites like Ebay and Cartrader or a local second-hand car dealership might be a better option.
It would not be a good idea. First it is illegal, second it can actually cause the computer to over adjust fuel and ignition timing and cause running issues. It would not be a good idea. What problem or system could cause a clicking noise coming from the engine of a 1987 Mazda 626 when it's on but the car seems to be running fine?
There are a few things that can cause a clicking.. first is valve tapping which is when the valves become a little loose and the noise you hear is when the gap is taken up and the metal taps, second is that the bearings in your water pump may be starting to fail, and third might just be that your belt has a bad spot and clicks as it passes a certain pulley.
