Try replacing the throttle body. (I think that is what it is called) I picked one up at a junkyard for like 20 dollars. Good Luck.
PEACE
typically this means the ignition module is bad
sounds like the ignition control module
after replacing the stearing colum what would cause it not to start. You may have disconnected the ignition switch.
What happens depends greatly on which module fails. If the engine control module (computer) fails it may cause the engine to run poorly or not at all. If the ignition module fails the engine won't start.
The ignition module will send a signal when the key is turned. If the module is no good the signal is not sent to the other ignition parts, thus not allowing the car to start
Likely Culprits: Bad Coil. Bad Ignition Control Module. Great Resources:
ignition module
Corrosion. Check connection at the module for corrosion.
A bad ignition module will cause a no start situation in a vehicle because the needed spark is not created. It is responsible for telling the distributor when to fire.
Absolutely.
nope
no..if its bad your car wont start
