The cat is my guess, i have a 96' Firebird, and my car had a HUGE loss of power, it was a bad cat, what happens is the cat gets clogged from unburned gases, particle buildup, pretty much anything can clog it, it can be caused from misfires, no fire from one cylinder, lots of things. Mine was caused from misfires. A bad cat kinda smells like rotten eggs. if you have any more questions, email me at systemat1c@live.com. (Cat stands for Catalytic Converter)
