The drain hose is connected to a nipple underneath the battery tray.
Dead cell in the battery requiring it be replaced or something is on pulling power from the battery. Some light or relay.
There is probably a dead short in the system.
Possible the battery is just too old, or it is damaged.
Often it's an alternator diode. Check the battery first. When batteries start to go bad they can often start to discharge over a couple hours. Take it to an auto parts retailer and have them test the battery and alternator for you. I had the same problem with my '92 Windom (ES 300). It was a faulty trunk mounted CD changer that was draining the battery.
When my 1999 did it, I needed to get a new battery.

There are multiple reasons why a battery would go down on a 1991 Cadillac DeVille. There may be a short in the electrical wires, the battery may be old or low on water, or you may of left an inside light on.
It does not have a drain plug. You have to remove the pan to drain the fluid.
There isn't one. You have to remove the pan to drain
Charles Drain - politician - died in 1991.
I'm chasing the same problem on a Saturn. I'm starting to wonder if it is the alternator. Having enough oil or dirt on the surface to cause a drain. A dirty battery on the case can cause a drain, so I'm assuming on the case of the alternator between the case and the main terminal could behave the same. Just a thought.
The radiator drain plug is on the bottom edge of the 1991 Legend. It looks like a wing nut and is on the drivers side.
No, You must remove the transmission pan to drain the fluid.
