Check the crank pully bolt. If it has come loose you will have a leak.
The crank pully bolt does not have anything to do with the crank shaft seal leak. The
bolt is independent of the seal. To replace seal remove crank shaft pully and you will have access to crank shaft seal, pull out & replace seal.
A loose crank pully retaining bolt will make it leak.
I do believe it's located immediately by the crank, which you can reach by removing the AC bracket, pulley bracket, and timing belt cover, which are all located on the front of the engine. You will see a wire harness connected to it leading to the top of the engine.
there is no crank sensor on a Mitsubishi 3000 gt but there is a crank angle sensor that looks just like a distributor its in the back of the engine on top between valve covers
no it does not... only the 1.6 has one
A loose battery cable will cause the engine not to crank over. A bad starter will also cause the engine to not crank over.
the crank sensor is located behind the main accessory drive pulley which is installed at the end of the crankshaft you have to remove the pulley and the plastic cover that covers the timing belt
To fix a Mitsubishi 2.0 timing belt, one will need a crank pulley. Simply pull the crank pulley and the top right engine mount to put the timing belt in its proper position.
Where is the crank position sensor 0n a 2001 mitsubishi Galant
There are several reasons that will cause an engine to crank over but not start. The most common cause is a lack of fuel.
The crank sensor on a 96 Mitsubishi Mirage is located on the bottom of the engine, near the oil filter. It constantly monitors the crankshaft and updates the vehicle's computer.
The crankshaft position sensor is located on the front of the engine inside the timing belt cover
Crank angle sensor
how to ins toll a crank sensor on a 95 Mitsubishi 6v, but first of all my car crank to the point that it wanted to start but it does not start what might be the problem.
ECU Caps dead
I need to see a photo pitchure of the timing alighnment marks, for the crank and cam shaft alighnment for a 2001 Mitsubishi mirage 1.8 liter engine
First and formost be sure it is the cranksensor that needs replacement coz there is another sensor called knock sensor. Crank sensor is located near to the engine front pulley. Knock sensor is on the side of engine
A bad cam or crank sensor can cause a no start, but the engine will still crank or turn over.
Could be a bad battery or starter.
Crank angle sensor reads rpm and sends the signal to the ECU (computer) to aid in the calculation of engine rpm, ignition timing, fuel injection and crankshaft position.
Yes, a crank sensor is one of the major sensors used to control engine timing and cylinder firing.
Could be a main engine relay problem.
on my Montero the sun roof would not close but after looking closely a plastic piece broke off and was jamming it so i removed it and its been working fine ever since then but i had to push it shut one day but i held the button down while i did it tho but no problems now with it
A bad TPS might cause the engine to not fire up during cranking. But not crank? Nope.
