There's most likely a bad ground in the harness going to the headlight. It's probably a black wire, going to a large screw or bolt on the fender or radiator support. If the wire isn't broken, remove the screw/bolt holding the ground lug to the body. Clean any contact points with a wire brush and reassemble.
it's your headlight switch
What would cause a headlight not to work on a Corsa SXI
No they won't, but I wish they would!
No.
Yes it can cause bulbs to blow.
What would cause a grinding noise after a tire is replaced and the brakes are not worn?
You either have Faulty outlets, in which case you would need to replace and refuse, or your fuses are burnt, and need to be replaced.
This would be a 9004 series halogen bulb available almost anywhere.
If you've already replaced the spark plug wires, try removing the spark plug boot heat shield.
Never.
there is no fuse i beleave just for the right headlight, i presume your right headlight is not working, do you have xenon or halogen bulbs, if you have xenon then the most likely cause is headlight xenon control modules, if the module is the cause i would sudjest replacing both headlight modules, and the front right xenon bulb. good luck.
If it's the same as a 96 Pontiac Grand AM GT, than you would need a 10mm socket and rachet there are three bolts on top of headlight remove these and just pull out headlight. Disconnect the wire going to the bulb you want to replace.
