Could be the heat shield on the catalytic converter
May be a bad bearing in one of the belt driven accesories i.e.
Water pump
Alternator
Belt tensioner
Idler pulley
etc.
if its a front wheel drive vehicle then it could be the axels
stabizer bar links that causing the rattling..
A bad transmission. The sound is from metal grinding on eachother.
Yes there are.
It is the sound of the gears grinding against each other. Because it is at a high speed, it sounds like a rattling instead of a grinding.
I would have the brakes checked ASAP. As to the rattle there maybe a nut that came off something and is inside something and the bump makes it move. The two may not be related.
probably air compressor for load leveling look behind side panel hatches behind back seats
Something is out of balance, maybe the water pump is on its way out.
This would be a front wheel bearing This comes as an assembly /front wheel bearing hub assembly Get this taken care of ASAP before the bearing fails
Worn Ball Joint
Check the heat shield on the catalytic converter Check exhaust hangers
Check your cooling fan motor. If it is no good when it goes on it will make a pulsating sound.
