Just had the same problem! 1) stone stuck in brack pad or also in my case brack pad needs adjusting it is touching the outer cover behind the silver plate. Had same type of noise and conditions. :0)
mine doing the same when turning been to garage could be broke spring or strut top bearing .
might be the wheel or ball bearing of the tire.
if you have a bad axle they will usually make a clicking noise when turning
If it's the front passenger side ,I would say your heater core is leaking .

cause a wire leading to the front blinker is broken. my 00 civic has this problem currently. if i jiggle the wire it fixes it. find the break and solder it.
