You can adjust the idle air control valve on a 1992 1500 truck while it is just idling. This is done if the truck is idling too fast or too slow. It will help the truck run better.
Is the AC turned on?

The u-join is probly going out
It could take an estimated 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon idling for a hour.

Got under the truck and it turned out to be the front differential! Wasn't even squealing in the rear like I thought!! Thanks tho cause i thought the universal joint also but checked it anyway!
They make all kinds of sounds. There'll be the sound of the engine... gas and diesel engines sound very distinct from each other... if the chassis isn't lubed, you'll hear squeaking, you'll hear squealing if the brakes aren't properly maintained, you'll have different exhaust tones with different aftermarket exhausts, etc.
Check the fan belt; it may need to be tightened.
