Most likely they are cross threaded because of the wrong thread pitch on the lug nuts. But could just be over torqued.
NOPE
Not safe at all. If the remaining 2 or 3 break, your tire will fall off.
yeah they could but then no one would buy them cause all cheap skateboard break.
men's studs fit the men's cleats and the women's studs fit the women's cleats
Studs are very seldom painted at all (let alone pink)
You are expected to see re colored reflective studs or cat eyes on all different major roads in most cities.
Unlock 12x studs and then it will bonus you're studs. Hope I helped :)
You can only install studs on tires that are designed to accept studs.
No you can get screw in studs mainly for high performance engines.
Yes. If you wear metal studs on an icy concrete surface, you will slip all over the place. If you wear rubber studs, they will grip easier. So therefore, rubber studs are better.
NO not at all just dont cut your studs out
I assume you are indicating wheel studs, what the lugnut threads to. If you don't have mechanical experience, I would take it to a tire shop that does minor repairs. Because you have to take the brakes apart on that hub, knock the studs out with a hammer, using the proper tools to pull the new studs back through. Pulling the new studs usually requires an air impact gun, shop type air pressure. Dangerous if you haven't done it before. If you don't have mechanical experience, I would take it to a tire shop that has done your stuff in the past. You might get a break being a return customer. Most shops charge avg $50-$60 per wheel to replace all the wheel studs on 5 holes wheels. The biggest thing trying to do it yourself is making sure the studs are seated all the way against the back of the hub without stretching the studs out of shape. Over tightening of studs/lugnuts is just as bad as not getting them tight enough. It will cause the studs to shear off and your tire to pass you going down the road as you are about to wreck. Not hard but some know how is needed for vehicle to be safe to roll down the road. You might watch a video on youtube.com to see if you want to venture into it or not. There should be a video on there, search "replace wheel stud". Watch more than one video just in case, JIM BOB, on there didn't cover the important details you really needed to know! Hope this helps. Good Luck and BE CAREFUL!
