check how easily your alternator spins. it should turn pretty freely
also make sure youre using the proper size belt and not under/overtightening it
plenty of things could be a starter, alternator, ignition switch, bad spark...
Loose alternator drive belt or loose or corroded battery cables. The battery itself may also be bad.
I have a Mazda 929 (1993) I had the same problem last year...I got a new alternator, and some new wires and spark plugs. Haven't had a problem with it since.
I can't quiet answer this question as i have the exact same problem. The only 2 solutions i can think of is maybe the water pump is faulty or the pulley on the alternator is the wrong size.
Spark plugs don't smoke. A bad alternator would cause a dead battery.
Yes it can cause bulbs to blow.
It happened to me, the problem is that the alternator is overcharging the battery which in turn is messing up the computer. You will need a new alternator and possibly a bettery.
A bad alternator will cause a battery to go bad. It does not have an effect on the air conditioner.
check the fuse
I've had the same problem with mine. It was a low voltage problem. check all your connections, clean the terminals, make sure your battery and alternator are good.
yes it does it is mounted in the rear of the motor. ////// i would think it would be like other cars integrated in the alternator
