Best case scenario is a hose above the engine block is leaking and just running down the engine block to where you see it or the water pump is leaking through its weep hole and you see it running down the outside of the engine.
Otherwise (also worst cases); cracked block (need a new engine) or a blown head gasket (expensive fix unless you have a verynice friend who likes tearing engines apart). Quickest way to see if those are an issue, check your oil dipstick, if the oil resembles a chocolate milkshake instead of looking like oil, you have a serious problem. Good luck and here's hoping its just a leaking hose.
cracked head or bad gasket
Internal engine antifreeze leak what else could cause besides headgasket? there is no antifreeze in the oil it is clean
An antifreeze leak.An antifreeze leak.
If it is motor oil in the anti freeze, then it is either a cracked head, cracked engine block, or a head gasket blown. If it is transmission fluid in your antifreeze, then the radiator is leaking from the transmission cooler ----- although usually that would cause antifreeze to be in your transmission fluid.
It could be that your head gasket is shot. It may cause your antifreeze to leak, and your engine will overheat.
Most likely a failed head gasket or a cracked or warped head. Less likely but possible is a crack in the block.
Headgasket!
If you smell antifreeze, there must be a leak somewhere. Have the cooling system pressure tested.
Your engine has dozens of seals. "The" engine seal tells me nothing. I'm thinking you may have a bad head gasket, but if you were more specific, I could try to help out more.
Find source and fix it.
Head gasket or cracked head. Mo
If it comes from the side of the motor and not from another source such a a leaing hose, then it is almost deffinatly a leaking head gasket. not a cheap or easy fix.
