The alternator is failing.
i had this happen once on an 03 dodge minivan. the alternator went bad and the battery was going dead but had enough power to get the engine started. once i replaced the alternator and charged the battery the gauges worked again. good luck!
Discharged battery possibly or trouble with starter.
Cars don't turn off completely, they run on battery power. The headlight switch needs to be turned off.
Low battery, bad connection or starter.
Too much current was flowing which caused an overheating problem. Can be the battery has a dead cell, or you reversed the cables.
bad battery or loose battery cable
Hard to say. It may cause no damage at all and then again it might cause serious problems.
Headlights run off the battery not the ignition...
Sometimes a weak diode within the alternator can cause this. Your alternator may test out fine but have it checked anyway. I hope this helps you. Mark get your alternator checked out as it sounds to me like its on the way out
Removing the CMOS battery will not prevent the computer from turning on, it will only cause the information in the CMOS RAM to be lost (while the computer is turned off). When you turn on the computer after the CMOS battery has been removed, while it will turn on it will most likely not boot the OS correctly but will stop in the BIOS and require you to completely setup the CMOS parameters again before you can tell it to continue..
unhook the battery terminal and connect it again that will cause the computer to restart meaning reprogram
Do you mean What does it mean when the brake and battery lights come on in when it is already started? Check your alternator may be its not working well it cause the battery sign comes out.
