Possibilities: A loose wire. Maybe at the fuel pump. Maybe a blown fuse for the gauges. Maybe a stuck or faulty sending unit on the float arm in the tank. Maybe just a stuck float arm. Rap the tank with a wood block it's worth a try. Hopefully you have the owners manual that came with the car. It should show a list of what fuses control what. If not, open the fuse panel under the hood and with any luck, they may be designated. (they are designated in the owners guide-not the big service manual)Many cars have another fuse panel by your left leg drivers side. there is usually a small opening in the trunk floor where you can access the top of the gas tank at the fuel pump to view but not remove & replace. Highly un likely that the gauge is faulty in the dash. Most likely a fuse or the fuel pump in the gas tank. They are pretty expensive $100.00 plus and labor on to that as the tank has to come off. There's always the junkyard for do it yourselfers. Hope this helps :>} Fullait
