Need to know if your getting spark at the plugs. Next if you are I would look at either timing, or fuel delivery problem, IE fuel pump, filter, ect. If not getting spark take coil wire off and see if you are getting spark there.
Passenger side of the engine bay, above the inner fender well.
one reason could be a bad ECM (Engine Control module). Replacing it is easy. You can do it yourself.
ECM, (Engine Control Module, Electronic Control Module) PCM, (Powertrain Control Module, Power Control Module) ECU, (Engine Control Unit, Electronic Control Unit).
The 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee engine control module is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The engine control module will be on the passenger side of the firewall.
The engine control module is covered in the powertrain warranty for your Kia. The engine control module should be covered for 100,000 miles.
Do you mean ecm or pcm? If so it stands for engine control module or power control module.
The body control module can have everything to do with it. If the engine computer and the body control module do not have communication between one another than the engine will start then die after 2 sec.

The ECM is an Engine Control Module . Modern vehicles have many such modules.
It's 'electronic control module', and the one for the engine will be one of the computers on the vehicle.
It is called a throttle body control module. It is in the engine compartment on the top of the engine.
