Transmission slipping is typically caused by:
1. Low hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pump, typically an indication of a worn pump.
2. Leaking hydraulic fluid, typically caused by worn or hardened seals.
3. Worn clutches
4. Wrong Transmission Fluid.
In any case, take the vehicle to a reputable transmission specialist for repair.
how to change a fuel pump in a 1998 Chevy Corvette
ha only the transmission is over a 1000 plus labor costs it would be like 1500+
Yes it can be done, but there is really no point as it is a big job and will cost more than its worth. Plus a manual transmission is way better than a automatic. If you would rather have a automatic transmission it would be wise to just sell the vehicle that has the manual and buy a vehicle equipped with an automatic.
Well what makes a car faster is the type of motor it carrys plus the transmission Well what makes a car faster is the type of motor it carrys plus the transmission Well what makes a car faster is the type of motor it carrys plus the transmission Well what makes a car faster is the type of motor it carrys plus the transmission
About 550 pounds. This would assume aluminum heads and intake, and a powerglide. And it would be closer to 575 with fluids.
Just a guess but your problem may be with the transmission filter. I recently changed mine on a 2001 Cavalier (64,900 miles) and found it runs much cooler and better. The transmission filter and gasket cost about $16.00 plus transmission fluid (4 1/2 quarts on my 3 speed automatic). If you have a socket set you can do this yourself and save about $50 from what a reasonably priced shop will charge.
To properly answer this question, one would need to know in what year model Z06 are you referring? I do know that in 2004, Corvette came out with a Commemorative model to Commemorate the two back to back LeMans wins. There were 2025 of these produced. The window sticker price from the dealer was listed at $57,485.00. This figure includes an amount of $4,500.00 for added options, plus $800.00 for shipment to the dealership. So for a 2004 Z06, a basic Corvette from the factory would cost $52,185.00. Hope this helps.
not really..............you might get sick though..........plus, it would be REALLY wierd to do that!
You can fix your 1985 Chevy Corvette by replacing the thermostat. If the automobile still runs hot, you might need to replace the cylinder head gasket.
In the US, rates will vary by insurance company, garaged location, condition of make and model, and type of coverage; plus your driving record and credit rating. The same general conditions will hold true for a corvette warship.
