Best Answer

Many components for the automotive and electrical industries wouldn't be available, increasing prices everywhere. Also many automobile brands wouldn't be available, such as vehicles from Volkswagen, General Motors and Nissan. On winter months, many kinds of fruits and vegetables would be scarce, such as avocados, bananas and coffee. Finally, there would be a general scarcity of certain fuels, consumer products and iron and steel products.

Why do tornadoes happen in Canada?

Tornadoes happen in Canada for the same reasons they happen in the United States. Warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico is pushed northward, meeting up with the cooler, drier air from the northwest. This leads to the formation of strong thunderstorms that, given enough wind shear, may produce tornadoes. This air mass collision usually occurs in Canada's southern areas near the border with the United States.
