Well of course that would mean that there would be no balance in the food chains of the world. It would be exactly the same as a plant photosynthesising except we would not use chloroplast cells but instead some other kind of cell we would gain. This would mean an overpopulation of species on our planet because at the moment it is mankind that are controlling the balance of species, by killing them for food. There would be too many environmental factors working against us such as depletion of food and valuable resources; to stop populations from reaching over 14 billion.

How would you decide if a cell was animal plant prokaryotic?

If a cell does not have a nucleus, then it is a prokaryote. If a eukaryotic cell has chloroplasts, then it is a plant or algal cell. If a cell has a nucleus but no chloroplasts, then it could be an animal cell.
