They will die.
If sharks had legs, they would not be sharks.
it would go in
Yes, simply refreeze the water. Leave a bottle of water outside on a freezing night, it will be solid ice in the morning. The same would happen if the bottle of water was put into a freezer.
It would just melt the plastic and the water would pour out.
Assuming that it is a half litre bottle of water, the water would have a mass of 500g so the bottle would have a mass of 95g. However it might be a pint bottle of water, in which case the water would have a mass of 568g, leaving the bottle with a mass of 27g.
dirt would settle to bottom
The increased pressure would compress the air inside the bottle, causing it to shrink in size. Eventually, the pressure would equalize between the air inside the bottle and the surrounding water, and the bottle may collapse under the immense pressure.
The water inside the bottle would freeze.
the producers would decrease in population as the herbivores which the sharks would have ate, would grow in population.

If there were no bottle caps (as we currently know them), there would be covers or plugs of some type. For example: cork or wax or plastic plugs. Someone would invent something to protect the contents of a bottle.
