Firstly, it would be dark! Of course a lot of things on the earth depend directly on sunlight such as plants, and indirectly, such as other animals and humans. If plants were to cease to exist, it would set the ball rolling for a mass extinction of all species. There could also possibly be some sort of evolutionary changes, as an alternative, as the rest of the creatures/plants would try to adapt to the less than poo
THE EARTH WOULD END. All things would stop eventually, leaving a hot core and a very, VERY dead Earth. Earth would PROBABLY stop moving, disrupting the Solar System. SO: Convection currents, if you stop, the universe will END.
When all Hydrogen on Sun is finished it will stop shining
Global warming would stop, wars would stop we all be come cave man again.
a the convections currents of earth would slow down and eventually stop. by the way, I'm 12
If an impact caused the earth to stop rotating it would have already caused damage. For example: If a meteor hit the earth it would crack the earth into pieces, therefore we would be frozen in the darkness for half a year and toasted from the sun the other half.
we won't have fresh eater to drink and the Earth will be dry and there will be no rain I think
If the convection currents in the earth's mantle slowed down then the mantle would slow down. Eventually, the mantle would stop all movement.
If the spherical Earth as we know it suddenly became flat, it would stop rotating, and the Sun and cosmic radiation would eventually destroy it.
If there were no other forces, there would be nothing to stop gravity from pulling Earth together into an extremely small space.
Earth's Gravity would pull it straight down to the Earths Surface.
In that case, the Moon would move in a straight line instead of moving around the Earth; it would quickly get away.
It wouldn't though because of the cycle ? i don't undestand why you need to ask this question?
