I would replace the line....ughh
I believe you would have to cut inner wheel wells to accommodate the larger rims your turning radius would diminish I love the way you can maneuver u- turns with stock 16-inch wheels.
I'll have to watch the movie again, but online pictures I've seen of it make me believe it is basically a 1972 Buick Riviera that has been customized. The front fenders appear to be from a '72 Buick Riviera, the grill looks '72 Riviera, basic shape of the front end looks '72 Riviera.A view of the rear half of the car would be most telling. Not being able to find a full side shot online, this is a best guess, but it is definitely early '70's General Motors, likely in the Buick bloodline.
the most likely cause of that would be the power steering pump failing.
In 1985 my FANS and I would exchange Belts one for one at our favorite bar. I we hade to many then definitly ended up Buicking in the old Riviera what order to replace them
I just purchased a 1990 Buick Riviera with 45,000 on it for my daughter. However, I did have a brief period that you discribed with the car stalling out. I don't know if this will help, but I just read at another site, that it may have a faulty idle air control.
This would be in the engine right behind the steering wheel. It is important this is kept up if you want to be able to turn your vehicle.
You would have to send the pcm out for a reflash at "intense racing". They also do other upgrades to the pcm will reflashing
