Straits deffintly with 4" tips but ur gas milage is goin to go way down so I'd use flowmaster with tips or turndowns.
You could cut the catalytic converter and muffler off and straight pipe it (If you don't care about losing gas mileage.) Or you could pay a professional to install Melo-Tones or Flowmaster exhaust system.
Exhaust leak, muffler is a louder type, improper instillation, etc.Exhaust leak, muffler is a louder type, improper instillation, etc.
well you have to realize flowmaster mufflers are not straight through like magnaflows they have chambers. the super 44 is only a 2 chambered muffler so you willl get horse power but not as much as if you put a magnaflow. but flowmaster does sell a muffler called the outlaw series its just a straight through exhaust with no ceramic glass packing in it. so it will be louder and flow better than magnaflow. so your answer is if you want it loud but want max horse power go with the flowmaster outlaw series but if you just want a nice deep tone not to loud but still good flow than i would saw magnaflow
hollow out the muffler
Go with a 40 serious flowmaster 3 chamber muffler. That will make it sound deep and powerful!
Long tube headers and a good catback exhaust. get magnaflow or a flowmaster
well no exhaust is street legal. bye law your not suppost to mess with a vehicles exhaust system. and on the 10 series it says ( for offroad use only). your answer is yes it is street legal but you also must know the 10 series is only a 1 chambered muffler there for it wont really muffler anything THERE FOR making your vehicle louder. the louder it is well your just asking for a ticket.
magnaflow is better performance and flowmater is better sound
If this question is for car of truck exhaust it is up to the discreation of the officer. The law states that the vechicle must have a catalytic converter(if so equipped from the factory) and some type of muffler. You can get away with louder exhaust in a county with no emmisions laws. If a vehicle was originally equipped with a catalytic converter, it must continue to have this critical emissions component. Headers do affect emissions and are regulated by the state. Some are legal, some are not. Flowmaster does not make headers, only mufflers and muffler systems. Flowmaster mufflers are not an emissions related component and are not regulated by law for emissions compliance. With regards to sound, how they are installed, which muffler is used and where the muffler is placed in the system affects the sound and that legality is up to the officer. Flowmaster offers a wide range of mufflers so managing the sound is not a problem, picking the right one can be if proper research is not done. Call an expert for your application. It is not a one size fits all situation.
take the catalytic converter off. you can punch the guts out of the converter so you have a pipe to got back on the exhaust.
You can attach a different exhaust system. A Flowmaster is a common one. You can also put a different air intake system on your vehicle as well.
Yes, yes it can, depends on how big the muffler tip is and/or the brand that you got.
