The 32nd President of the United States was Franklin D. Roosevelt. President Roosevelt was elected into office four times. He was elected in 1932, and was reelected in 1936. He was elected into his third term in 1940, and his fourth in 1944. Roosevelt served from March 4, 1933 until April 12, 1945 when he died in office at the beginning of his fourth term.
