One of the most important rights given to women was the right to vote. This happened in Norway in 1913, France in 1944, and in Switzerland in 1971. In the United States, the 19th Amendment to the Constitution gave women the right to vote. This amendment was ratified in 1920.

1920 was the year that women had gained the right to votes. It was during the 1900's that women gained the majority of their human rights.

About 150 years. The United States became a nation in the year 1776. Women gained the right t vote in 1920. The gained the right of equal pay in 1994. That is it.
