ECT button allow you to switch between Power and Normal mode. Normal mode is more fuel efficient but not as responsive. In Power mode cars become more responsive but consume more fuel.
where are you from, whats your job ect.
Red button in front of my gear lever, What is it?All Automatic Models: Pressing this allows you to move the gear lever out of park without turning the ignition
i once had a Nissan n13 did extensive head work to it ported polished ect would start engine stalled . check all vacuum hoses fuel lines filters ect also timingcheers good luckANSWER: You might also check to see if your fuel filter is cloged and needs replacing.
The ect power button lengthens gear ratio and gives a bit of extra power
You push the ECT PWR button (located left to the radio) to the "Off" position.
extra gas.....thus more power.....like four wheel drive without the four wheels....suppose to feel it in the exceration....
