Whats it like to live in Africa?

To put things in perspective, Africa consists of 54 independant countries with over 2000 spoken lanugaes and dialects - that gives it a huge amount of cultural diversity.

South Africa has lovely safari parks, gorgeous beaches and huge mountains too.

Nigeria has lovely sculptures and buildings all over the country.

Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria has hot weather all year round and it is filled with Arabian culture.

not to mention the other 40+ countries in Africa!

the food and clothing differ slightly throughout the whole of Africa. people eat garri in north west Africa, and in south Africa, they eat skop. the clothing differs too.

both blacks and whites live in Africa.

culture is very vivid. like if the chief of a village dies for example, they have a funeral and have a send off party to see him off to the afterlife.

life in Ghana is really nice. the climate is hot and and there is grass and beaches everywhere. I've been there myself and it 's been unforgetable (in a good way!)

It is easy to find beaches in Ghana. the colours of the national flag are (horizontically) red, yellow, green with a star in the middle. the colours of the flag mean different things.

Red: represents the blood split fighting for their independence.

Yellow/Gold: represents that Ghana is a rich mineral country.

Green: very good vegetation

Black star:stands for the emancipation and the unity in the struggle against colonialism.

Where as if you are poor then life is really hard for you because everyday is work day.

The Sahel is a zone of transition between the Sahara desert in the North and the Sudanian Savannas in the south of Northern Africa. Essentially a strip of land running across Africa just south of the Sahara.

The Sahel is mostly covered in grassland and savanna, with areas of woodland and shrub land. It is fairly dry but suitable for large populations of grazing herbivores.
