I have done a few fuel pumps and I can honestly say there is no easy way to do it in most cases you have to pull the fuel tank from the vehicle disconect the fill tube and fuel lines a couple of electrical connections and in my opinion you should replace the fuel fiter every time you replace a fuel pump. Also since your car sits pretty low to the ground it makes it difficult without the use of jackstand or a lift the only time I have ever had to do a fuel pump with out dropping the tank was on a 1985 Gmc sierra which was carbuerated and it had a mechanical fuel pump mounted to the pump. But if you are comfortable working on your car and have no problem with pulling the tank the rest is a breeze. I would also recomend a chilton or haynes repair manual it will show step by step how to replace a fuel pump and many other parts. hopefully this helps.
