Once you get the radio serial # (on the back of the radio or in the glove compartment) and the vehicle VIN number, you can call Hyundai Customer Service (USA - 1-800-633-5151) or (Canada - 1-800-461-8242) and they can give you the 4 digit code needed to reset the radio. This is the process I took with my 1995 Hyundai Sonata.

All radio codes are different, contact a Honda dealer.

For many '95 Integras, to find the radio code without removing the radio, remove the slide-out ashtray and look for the sticker on the bottom of the ashtray; the five digit number is your radio code. Turn the radio on, enter the code, and you should be good to go.

You'll need to have access to the radio code. You enter it into the keypad on the face of the radio, when prompted. If you don't know your code, you'll have to get it from Mercedes-Benz. Sometimes you can find your code in your owners manual kit.

If you need the radio code to your Grundig Beta Radio from a VW Golf 95, you will have to contact your local dealer to look up that information. You will need the serial number, VWZ2Z2S8588230 and other identifying information such as the VIN number and the address and phone to which the car is registered.

If you are talking about the radio code, no, there is no default code. Any dealer can supply you with the code, if you supply them with the radio serial #. You will however have to remove the radio to see the serial #. I would look everywhere for that code before going to that trouble. It is a 5 digit code.

call the dealer they can give it to you or may charge a small fee

Good luck with this, but try calling Hyundai customer service, but the code they gave me didn't work. You can temp. turn it on but holding 'BAND' while turning it on. Hope you figure it out.

When you hook the battery back up and turn on the radio, it will read code. Turn on the radio. If the display on the radio says "code", then enter the code using the preset buttons. If it doesn't say "code", try pressing the Mode button until 'code' appears. If you can't get 'code' to appear by pushing buttons, you might have to call your local Honda dealer. If you do not have the code, then you will need the serial # off the radio in order for a Honda dealer to supply the code, unless the original selling dealer has a record of the proper code stored. The car came with 2 little cards with the code listed on them.

The code came with the car when it was new on a plastic card slightly smaller than a credit card. It is a 5 digit code. Look around for the card or see if it is written down somewhere in the owner's manual. If not, then the only way to get the code is to remove the radio and copy down the radio serial #. Take this number to your local Honda dealer and they will be able to provide the code. Before removing the radio call the selling dealer who sold the car new, as they may have the code stored in their computer system. Some dealers do this just in case you loose the code card. In addition you may be able to use a dental mirror to see the serial # without actually removing the radio. Sorry, I wish there was another way, but there isn't.
