sounds like coil pak to me but yu will need to find out which cylinder it is first. could be transmission...get your tranny fluid changed and filter see what that does for you
Acceleration is the rate of change of velocityaka how fast the velocity changes
If car is coughing and stalls out until you drive whats the problem.
One equation is Force/acceleration=mass
0.01 seconds
it might be your throttle
Just a few seconds.
3,500 milliseconds
4.7 seconds
my 1990 is doing same thing i dont know whats going on yet? have u figured yours out?
Probably an alternator.
Acceleration=force divided by mass. The above is Newtons second law. Acceleration is also the change in velocity over the change in time, so it can also be stated as a=(final velocity - initial velocity)/(elapsed time)
The first thing to look at is whether your IAC (idle air control) is working. Also another is whether your base idle is correct. There are more things that can be a maybe but always basics first. You should have good sparkplugs and wires as well as correct fuel pressure. You also did not say what heppends after 10 seconds. DOes it start or NO start etc.
