The "Yalta Pact" was a wartime agreement made in 1945 during a meeting between the heads of state of Great Britain, The United States, and the Soviet Union. Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin met at Yalta, in the Crimea, to plan the occupation of postwar Germany. Under the agreements, the Soviet Union also agreed to declare war on Japan.
