Relation between wave length and size of the antenna?

To decrease antenna height For transmitting a signal of wavelength λ the antenna height must be λ/4. So if we want to send a 1 Hz (λ=3*10^8 m) signal ( very very low frequency) using an antenna , its height must be 75,000 Km ( impossible to build such a huge antenna ). If the same signal is modulated to some high frequency say 88 MHZ ( λ = 3.4 m ) , antenna height needed is 0.8522 m (quite easy to construct !!! ) (88 MHZ is the starting range of Frequency modulation which exists upto 108 MHZ).

What is an Example of line of sight communication?

TV transmission from one antenna to other antenna is a clear example of line of sight communication.

How signal reflects back in an antenna?

In a properly matched antenna, signal does not reflect back - the transmission line and antenna combination is seen, electrically, as an infinite line - so there is no reflection - again, when properly matched.

How are resistor connected in series?

when we want maximum resistance they are connected in series. when resistors are connected in series total resistance is maximum when resistors are connected in parallel total resistance is minimum for series total R=R1+R2+R3......... for parallel R1 in parallel to R2 total 1/R=(1/R1)+(1/R2) ie R=(R1*R2)/(R1+R2)

How can you bypass your big screens bad tuner by using a VCR am confused by so many in out av ac cables?

Hi !This only applies assuming that this is a cable/antenna tuner not a HD or digital signal .What you'll need to do is find a free input on your tv such as input 1 , 2 , 3 etc . Connect the vcr to the free input using the ouput on the vcr .Then you will hook up your cable/antenna hookup into your vcr's INPUT or LINE IN whatever they call it . Turn on vcr and tv . Be sure to put tv on proper input which would be what ever free input you decided on for the vcr . Then you'll need to turn your vcr to the tuner input . Sometimes you have to press the input button to get there . From that point you will use the vcr remote to change channels .

How do you line up Altima fly wheel and torque converter?

Well, first of all the torque converter has two slots that will need to line up exactly with input shaft. However, the inner splines that are connected to the torque converter should be lined up with the splines of the torque converter of the input shaft.

How many 40 Ω resistors connected in parallel are required to carry 1.5 A on a 12.0 V line?

The required resistance is 12/1.5 = 8Ω.Five 40Ω resistors in parallel have an effective resistance of 8Ω.

What is the part called that is connected to the bottom of the battery bracket called that has a cable runs with the acceleration cable. it also has an electrical input and an air line?

this question makes little or no sense

What is the efficiency of a transmission line?

Transmission line efficiency is power at the recieving-end of the line compared to the power at the sending-end of the line and is expressed as a percentage, so this can be formulated. % efficiency = load power (output) / source power (input) x 100 In the line, there are power losses. to calculate this we use the formula: power loss = 3.I2.R where I is current and R is resistance. Now that we have the losses, we know the difference between the input and the output. So, for example, if one had the output value known, then to get the input we just add the loss to the output or if had the input known, just subtract the loss from it to get the output. hope that helps

How do you remove the power antenna on a 1996 Infiniti I30?

Open up the truck.. Unplug power line but, don't unplug the antenna line. It's will be used for your remote. - brokenics@yahoo.com

A resistor has a resistance of 176 ohm How many of these resistors should be connected in parallel so that their combination draws a current of 5 amperes from a 220 volt supply line?

4 resistors were connected in parallel it yields 5A of current from 220V supply.

What is the input-output rule for the points on the line?

The answer will depend on the equation of the line.
